The venue was the exclusive roof top bar of the Maison
Fahrenheit Hotel in Victoria Island, overlooking the beautiful skyline of
Kuramo beach to the right and the expansive Eko Hotels to the left.
Although the party was billed to start by 9 p.m.,
guests started checking in as early 8 p.m. Two hours later, there was no space
left for late comers. And the courteous bartenders had a hectic time churning
out different cocktails of SKYY Vodka for guests, with DJ Caise keeping the
groove at its high tempo with his music mix.
Some of the early arrivals included prominent
on-air-personality, Olisa Adibua, ace music producer and judge on MTN Project
Fame, TY Mix, Rundown, Runtown, Ketchup and Waje. Others included Wana
(Inspiration FM), Fade (Beat FM), music video producer Sesan Ogunro, Vic o, IK
Ogbonna, and Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi amongst other guests.
And the man-of-the-moment, Patoranking, arrived in
style sandwiched by his team, and was heralded into the venue with shouts of
‘Patoranking-Fire’, ‘Patoranking-Fire’ in wild ecstasy by fans.
Guests were entertained to a few live performances by
upcoming artistes, including Mr 2Kay from Port Harcourt and Falz. Thereafter,
Patoranking thrilled guests to some of his hit tracks, including the now
trending “My woman, my everything” track, to the admiration and cheering of
guests.
Shortly before his performance, Patoranking expressed
his heart-felt appreciation to all his fans, and especially thanked SKYY Vodka
for all the love. He personally autographed 54 bottles of SKYY Vodka which he
gave to 54 lucky guests at the ceremony.
Abayomi Ajao, Marketing Manager, Brian Munro Limited
(exclusive marketers of SKYY Vodka in Nigeria) expressed satisfaction with the
success of the party, adding that the party will be replicated in Abuja and
Port Harcourt to enable fans in those locations have the opportunity to party
with Patoranking.
It could be recalled that Patoranking, who is SKYY
Vodka’s brand ambassador, defeated some of the brightest African top artists,
including Stonebwoy(Ghana), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Duncan (South
Africa) and Anna Joyce (Angola) to pick up the MAMA award in July 2015.
